A popular dish during the holidays is an Ethiopian Doro Wat, which directly translates to chicken stew. It’s an incredibly fragrant, spicy, flavourful, rich slow-cooked Ethiopian chicken stew, mostly eaten for special occasions and with family. This dish combines ethnic flavours and is a traditional preparation with local chicken.  

This dish uses an assortment of spices including ginger, garlic, coriander, allspice, cinnamon, and cardamon. Indulging in warm spices during the winter not only adds a delightful and comforting dimension to our culinary experiences but also brings about numerous health benefits.
